The ministry of CTO has continued to spread around the world as one life touches another life which touches another life. In an attempt to encourage you as a discipler and to further equip you in responding to the call to make disciples, we are providing a number of live video conference training classes called CTO Webinars.

YOU DO NOT NEED A WEB CAM TO PARTICIPATE!! ALL YOU NEED IS A COMPUTER WITH HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS AND SPEAKERS OR A HEADSET.

Identifying control in yourself and in your disciple is key to addressing these sinful self-protective strategies. To control their world, people typically use one of two major strategies: the attempt to control people in their lives or the attempt to the control the circumstances of their lives. This webinar will help you understand what control looks like, what motivates it and how to identify these control strategies. Although everyone may not fit precisely into one of these two categories a closer look at both strategies can give you helpful insights into sinful patterns that may be present in your life and the lives of those you are discipling.

REVERSING A ROLE REVERSAL - Recorded Feb 18

It is very common for the wife to be a controller of people and the husband to be a controller of circumstances. When this is the case, there is often a role reversal that is inconsistent with the biblical roles God has designed for marriage. This can produce ways of relating that are not recognized as sinful because they have become a normal way of relating that may either “appear to work” or provide a sense of “emotional survival.” Until these roles are corrected, the marriage will struggle to be what God intends it to be.
